Massage Therapy to Get You Out of Pain and Feeling Great Again.
I’m down to earth, practical, no nonsense type of therapist and I live by what I teach.
My life consists of listening my body 24/7 and honouring the natural flow of life.
As a therapist, my main aim is to help you to fix the cause that is leading to your pain. Part of this is to give you advice of the potential problem so that you can catch it before it has a negative impact in your life. I also will guide you to learn to listen to your body and live in a way that minimises the pain and suffering.
I offer three different types of massages. Ayurvedic Yoga Massage, Sports & Remedial Massage and No Hands Massage.
I will work with you to determine the best type of massage to help address your particular issue or type of pain.
If you would like to book a massage or get more information please call or email me in the form at the bottom of this page.

Powerful Yet Gentle Treatment
It works because we literally do not use our hands, but instead we use the soft surfaces of our forearms. This means it is both deeper and more relaxing than conventional Massage. For this reason it has been called the Gentle Giant of Massage. This is Massage for life, not just for the odd injury or occasional pampering, but Massage to help your journey through life.
Words and pictures cannot do justice to the power of this ‘New Massage’ – you can only understand it by feeling it.
NO HANDS Massage is deeper and more effective than you ever thought possible. This is why NO HANDS Massage has now become the Massage treatment of choice for many professional Massage therapists – because they know! The Massage is so powerful that you will feel the benefits long after the session has finished. No more ‘skin polishing’, no more dis-comfort and no more painful or intrusive techniques. Only deep, gentle, powerful touch.
FAQs
Sports Massage FAQs
How does sports and remedial massage differ from normal massage?
I don’t do sports – can I still have a Sports Massage?
I can use this deep massage to treat you and look at what day to day activities could be the cause and can give you simple solutions to help with this. Even making a few small changes can have a big effect.
Does sports massage hurt?
Everyone tolerates pain differently, and as a therapist I will work with you to regulate the techniques and intensity to get the muscle tissue to respond to the treatment within your comfort zone. I don’t want you to feel that the treatment is either unbearable or not effective enough, because this does not bring results – you know your pain tolerance better than me and I am more than happy to ease up on your request.
What should I wear?
How often should I have Sports Massage?
If you’re training for something specific, then definitely (about a week) before your event so you are ready to compete.
If you get regular massages, that’s always better – always remember to keep your goals in mind.
Why Massage?
Pain. Why are we in pain?
I believe our bodies are more intelligent than what we give them credit for. So many people live too much in the mind, which restricts the body’s ability to function in it’s full freedom and therefore limits our potential leading to pain, injuries, bad posture and so on.
I have discovered for myself that becoming more in tune with my body I’ve been able to become more relaxed, healthier and feel better overall.
As a personal trainer and someone who has been passionate about body and exercise for several years, I’ve learned many ways in which you can take care of your muscles, joints & energy levels.
This is directly linked to how you’ll feel emotionally and mentally.
My aim is to make you feel better. This means that in addition to regular treatments want to give you practical information about YOUR body, exercises, stretches, nutrition and anything that you want to take away from the sessions to help you feel better in your body.
I want each session to help you feel better and enable me see the change and progress you make so I can continue giving you appropriate advice if needed.
